OUR FIRST INTERCONTINENTAL EXHIBITION

  Exhibition by Andrea Ehret

The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Washington D.C. and Victory Art invite you to Silence and Freedom, a solo exhibition by Andrea Ehret, on May 1, 2025, at 6 PM. Through expressive abstract works, Andrea explores the balance between chaos and harmony, voice and silence. Influenced by Eastern philosophy, her intuitive process transforms emotions into vivid dreamscapes, where bursts of color emerge from darkness. More than art, Silence and Freedom is a statement—an invitation to embrace self-expression, reflect on the power of silence, and experience the healing force of creativity.

ARTIST OF THE MONTH

Sandra Starling

I was born in Prague in 1978 into a very peaceful family, where my father was an architect and my mother was a graphic designer. They both really love art, and it was quite clear from a young age that me and my sisters will follow their passion for art. I started to learn how to draw when I was 6 years old. Being introverted as a child, art was a way of communicating and expressing my world to other people.
