Partnership with The Chemistry Gallery

Partnership with The Chemistry Gallery

The Chemistry Gallery makes every effort to foster emerging talent and bring it to a wider international audience by cooperating with top curators and publications. They house a handful of top young artists who mainly focus on paintings, sculptures, and light installations. After forming the chemistry gallery in 2016, they have organized more than 150 exhibitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. Some of the artwork from their talented artists have been included in important Czech and international collections. The chemistry gallery is a great partnership opportunity for Victory Art seeing as they have an extensive history of collaborating and creating their own exhibitions.

Coming from the Czech Republic, the chemistry Gallery is the home to many Czech artists. Victory art also works with several Czech artists, some of whom will have their artwork presented in the online exhibition. You can expect to see the artwork of three of our Czech artists: Yvonne Vacha, Zuzana Bürger, Magdaléna Sevcíjk.

Yvonnne Vacha was born in the Czech Republic and has Czech African (Senegalese) roots. Both cultures have had an influence on Yvonne, and this is prevalent when looking at some of her work. Yvonne works mostly with bright colors and distinctive morphology. A lot of her paintings are quite spontaneous as she lets her subconscious express itself in her work. Below you can see an example of some of the work you can expect from Yvonne in the V4U online exhibition.

Zuzana Bürger focuses mainly on paintings which is what can be seen in the online exhibition and from the piece of artwork shown below. However, she also illustrates and does some graphic design. She has been interested in art since a young age, from dance to photography, fashion, and painting. She believes that ‘creating’ is a natural way of life. Throughout her career, she has worked as a graphic designer at several prestigious magazines.

Magdaléna Sevcíjk has always wanted to understand how the world works so that she can bend the rules to create her own. Most of her early artistic inspiration came from nature, which slowly evolved into a fascination with architecture. Her current style consists of colors in contrast with geometric elements, which is what can be seen in her work in the V4U online exhibition. Her work is always personal, deep, and sometimes even uncomfortable but ironically visually pleasing.

A lot of appreciation must go to The Visegrad Fund which created a project called ‘art education with the aim of digitizing art. They have helped Victory Art offer seminars, one-on-one art consultations, and finally, an online exhibition. The Visegrad fund fits perfectly in line with the mission and vision of Victory art as they look to help navigate artists through the art industry. The Visegrad group is a political and cultural alliance of 4 central European countries: Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, and the Czech Republic. The goal of this online exhibition is to bring artists from the Visegrad countries together and push them closer to art enthusiasts.
