8 Different Work-From-Home Personalities, Which one are You?
Many of us have coped with working from home and learned more about how to plan a structured day. Yet, as many personalities exist, as many working routines exist. Our team compiled 8 of the most common work from home personalities during a pandemic for you, so you can find yourself in one of them!
The Overachiever
Home or office, productivity comes naturally to the overachievers. They still have the motivation and discipline to get out of bed on the 51st day in quarantine, work out, eat, and change out of their pajamas. They'll be the only one who wears a crisp, ironed white shirt in their zoom meeting as always. Best (or worst of all) their DIY office space at home is more put together than your life. No wonder they get everything done.

The Email Overloader
Similar to the overachiever, the email overloader is an inspired individual, perhaps a little too inspired. While our inability to ask run-off-the-mill questions to our colleagues has motivated many of us to take more independent decisions, the overloader clearly has not received the memo. From overloading our email inboxes to company group chats, a chill pill is in order. At the end of the day though, at least we’re always updated on what’s going on.

The Bad Connection
Ah, zoom calls: what a double-edged sword! While it has allowed us to communicate with our colleagues from the comfort of our beds, the quality of communication is not always great. And we know there’s always one person whose connection is absolutely terrible. Whether it be constantly buffering video or strange screeching sounds, we can only imagine how frustrated this person is.

The Distracted
Work? What work. Working from home is clearly a struggle for this person. Constantly distracted, this person has not yet found a system that works from and is constantly struggling to put up with the workload the job demands. Always in sweat and half-awake, we’re starting to doubt whether this person even gets anything done during the workday.

The Snacker
One privilege of working from home has to be that we have more control over what we eat. No longer dependant on company cafeterias we have a lot more time to cook and the Snacker is very aware of this. Always seen munching on something or the other, the snacker has picked up a new hobby of trying out new recipes and is constantly cooking up something interesting, making all of us jealous.

The Showstopper
This is the video call you look forward to. Not so much for the people or the topic being discussed but the cute pet, the person on the other end owns. You struggle to keep your attention as their pet walks in and out of frame, oh so cutely. The team has gotten to know the animal and now everyone’s obsessed, constantly keeping an eye on the background just in case the showstopper makes an entrance.

Introvert
Never big on social interaction, this person seems to be doing perfectly well during this quarantine. They’re delighted to be home, away from people, and the constant interaction an office space demands. They’re more focused when working alone and they finally have the space to do it. They’re on top of their game now that they’ve found the right working environment for themselves.
Curator's Choice: Art of Miracles by Nad'a
The Happy Hour
You’re starting to wonder what’s in this person’s opaque cup because you’re fairly sure it isn’t coffee. You’re not sure if the strange responses are a result of the person misunderstanding your question or because they’re under some sort of unexplained influence. Either way, they seem suspiciously happy to be here at 14.00 on a Wednesday afternoon, which is clearly concerning.
