Ekaterina Gromova

	I studied classical art and graphic design education at an art school in Russia. Although I obtained a degree in graphic design at university, I was always passionate about classical art as well. My interest in both design and fine art inspired me to mix them together in my painting.

I usually take inspiration from the natural objects surrounding us. These include shapes of leaves, flowers, and shells. I examine their texture, color, and other details and abstract them in my painting.

While working on my artwork, I use the technique of tissue stamp. When pressing down the golden foil collage with a tissue on top of the acrylic background, it creates a special texture. I prefer working with bigger canvases as it gives me an opportunity to fill up all of my passion on the infinite surface.
