The series of paintings „Beetles” was born from my direct personal experiences with these beings. Often overlooked very easily, insects hide a special beauty. Extremely varied chromatics, shapes, and anatomical details make these small creatures spectacular subjects for works of art.
In our daily routine, we tend to chase without allowing ourselves to pay too much attention to small things. Because of this we easily overlook the beauty of details and small things that surround us. This is exactly what I am trying to express in this series, the fact that if we open our eyes and give ourselves a little time, we will discover amazing things right under our noses.
