In this work, I am navigating my memories—memories that grow stronger the further I move away from them physically. As an Italian living in Central Europe, I have distanced myself from Mediterranean colors, yet they follow me—they return in my paintings. Even when I try to resist, the influence of my childhood reemerges. This piece, in particular, evokes dreams of the sea, Mediterranean greenery, and the blend of both, along with the distance that now separates me from them.
